Scholopsis is a browser extension and web dashboard that reads your grades from your school's gradebook platform using your own existing login session, and shares them with people you choose — such as a parent — through a weekly report card email. Scholopsis does not log into your school account on your behalf; it only reads data while you are already signed in through your browser.
Scholopsis is built for college students, most of whom are adults managing their own education records. You must be able to lawfully accept these terms to use Scholopsis. If you're under 18 — for example, a dual-enrollment or early-college student — you should have a parent or guardian's permission before creating an account.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; this immediately and permanently removes your synced grades, recipients, and account data, except where we're required to keep records for legal or accounting purposes (such as past payment records).
Scholopsis offers two paid plans, billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy:
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel or manage your subscription anytime from Settings, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Canceling stops future renewals; we don't provide prorated refunds for partial months. If an organization's subscription lapses or is canceled, its members lose active access until the owner resubscribes, but members keep their org membership on record in case billing resumes.
If you opt in to anonymized research data sharing as a Solo subscriber, your first month is free. This is a one-time perk per account, applied automatically at checkout if you've opted in, and does not apply to the Organization plan since members aren't billed individually. Declining the research opt-in costs you nothing — the free month is a bonus for opting in, not a penalty for opting out.
You agree not to:
How we collect, use, and protect your data — including the research opt-in — is covered in our Privacy Policy. By using Scholopsis, you agree to that policy as well.
Scholopsis is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instructure (Canvas) or Anthology (Blackboard). We access grade data the same way you would manually — through your own authenticated browser session — and rely on each platform remaining stable; if either changes how grades are displayed or accessed, syncing may be temporarily affected until we update the extension.
We aim to keep Scholopsis reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Grade syncing depends on your school's platform remaining accessible and structured the way our extension expects; outages or platform redesigns may affect accuracy or availability of synced data. We'll do our best to fix breakages quickly when we become aware of them.
Scholopsis is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in scraped grade data, missed report card emails, or decisions made based on the information Scholopsis shares. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim related to Scholopsis is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms as Scholopsis evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date below; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
